What is your Return Policy?

At Wild Range Living, we want every customer to shop with confidence. If something doesn’t go as planned, we’ve made returns and refunds simple and fair. Here’s how it works:

1. Return Window

You can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. Unfortunately, we’re unable to accept returns after that time frame.

2. Who Pays for Return Shipping?

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we’ll cover the return shipping cost.
If you’re returning an item because you changed your mind, you’ll be responsible for return shipping fees.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

Received something broken or not working properly? Contact us within 30 days. We’ll provide a prepaid return label and once the item is returned and inspected, we’ll issue either a full refund or a replacement—including any original shipping costs.

4. Changed Your Mind?

If you no longer want the item, you can return it within 30 days—as long as it's unused, in its original packaging, and in resellable condition. You’ll need to handle the return shipping, and once we receive and inspect it, we’ll refund the product cost (excluding shipping).

5. Refund Processing

Once we receive and approve your return, we’ll send a confirmation email and issue a refund to your original payment method within 7 business days. Please allow additional time for banks or credit card companies to process and reflect the refund.

If it’s been over 10 business days since your refund was approved and you still don’t see it, contact us at support@wildrangeliving.com and we’ll look into it immediately.

6. Restocking Fees

In some cases, a restocking fee may apply depending on the item and return reason. If applicable, we’ll clearly communicate this during your return request process.

The Cedar Log Lounge Chair is the outdoor chair that disappears into an afternoon. Not a statement piece — a chair that holds you comfortably for longer than you planned to sit outside.

It is built from 100% Northern White Cedar, the naturally rot and insect resistant wood Lakeland Mills has used in Edmore, Michigan since 1923. Contoured seat slats are shaped for a proper sit-back position, with mortise and tenon joints at the structural connections and galvanized exterior hardware throughout — construction that holds up across seasons without asking much from you.

The lounge configuration sits lower and angled further back than a standard outdoor chair, which suits a long read or an hour of doing nothing in particular. It is solid enough to feel settled and light enough to move around a porch or yard without effort, and it pairs directly with the Cedar Log Ottoman for a full reclining setup.

Features

Built from 100% Northern White Cedar — the naturally rot and insect resistant wood that has been the standard for outdoor log furniture in Michigan's Great Lakes region for over a century. Every Contoured Comfort piece uses actual cedar logs, not cedar veneer, cedar-look composite, or finger-jointed lumber with a cedar-toned stain. Logs are hand-selected, shaped, and joined with mortise and tenon construction at the structural connection points, and the galvanized exterior hardware resists rust and corrosion without requiring replacement.

The seat slats are contoured to hold you in a sit-back position, angled for extended outdoor use rather than a brief perch. The result is a solid, settled feel that holds up season after season, designed to last outdoors without requiring covered storage every winter.

The material is the reason it lasts. Most outdoor lounge chairs sold at comparable price points are made from Chinese fir, which looks and photographs like cedar but is not rot-resistant and breaks down outdoors in 1 to 3 years — particularly in humid regions, near the coast, or in climates with hard winters. As the wood deteriorates, the joints loosen. Northern White Cedar lasts 10 to 20 years under normal outdoor use and holds its fasteners tightly over time.

The chair ships partially assembled with all hardware and step-by-step instructions. Left untreated, the natural cream cedar weathers gradually to silver-grey. Apply a penetrating oil or water-based deck sealer to maintain the original pale colour; cedar also accepts stain or paint using any outdoor-rated treatment.

Natural wood checks — small surface cracks that appear as the wood dries and expands with changes in humidity and temperature. In Northern White Cedar this is a normal characteristic of genuine log construction. Checks are surface-level, are not a defect, and do not affect structural integrity.
