The BougeRV Yuma CIGS Flexible Solar Panel uses Copper Indium Gallium Selenide (CIGS) thin-film solar cell technology, designed to flex and adjust to a variety of surfaces while offering enhanced durability, light sensitivity, and lifespan compared to conventional panels.

Features

The panel is incredibly flexible and can be rolled up for compact storage and transportation, and can be bent to fit curved surfaces without cracking. It is lightweight and thin, requiring no additional mounting or aluminum frames, which improves aerodynamics and appearance. Its CIGS cells are crack-resistant, unlike monocrystalline cells, which are virtually inflexible and prone to cracking.

Featuring multiple bypass diodes, the panel minimizes power loss under partial shading and delivers up to 38% more energy on cloudy days than conventional monocrystalline panels over an 8-hour cloudy day. It is highly durable, able to withstand impacts during installation and transport, and will still function even if partially damaged. A pre-assembled adhesive backing eliminates the need for brackets and drilling, allowing tool-free installation.

The panel is versatile enough to install on a wide range of surfaces, including RVs, trucks, boats, tents, and roofs, and its lightweight design also allows it to be rolled up and carried as a portable solar panel.
